Pallippuram Once Again Becomes the Stage for a Colourful Celebration of Art

October 14, 2026

The grounds of Government Higher Secondary School, Mankada Pallippuram, are once again getting ready to host a grand celebration where the vibrant colours of art blend with the beauty of creativity. After a long gap of thirteen years, the Mankada Sub-District School Kalolsavam is returning to Pallippuram, which witnessed remarkable artistic moments back in 2013. This grand festival, bringing together art, culture and creativity, is sure to breathe new life into the cultural spirit of Koottilangadi Grama Panchayat.

The registration process for the Kalolsavam will begin on November 7. Subsequently, on November 9, 10, 11 and 12, talented young artists will captivate audiences with their creative brilliance across various stages. These colourful days of artistic celebration are certain to create joyful and cherished memories not only for the people of Koottilangadi but also for families and residents of neighbouring panchayats.

A total of 42 participants from seven panchayats within the Mankada Sub-District competed to design the official logo for this prestigious festival. Among the outstanding creative entries, Shri N. K. Anwar Babu, a native of Cheerakuzhi, Pallippuram, has brought pride to Koottilangadi Grama Panchayat and, in particular, to our Ward No. 5.

With his artistic talent, Anwar Babu has beautifully captured the cultural charm of Pallippuram, the unique identity of the locality and the elegance of imagination in the official logo of the Kalolsavam. His achievement is a proud moment for our community and a testament to the creativity and artistic excellence of local talent.
