The vision of Koottilangadi Grama Panchayat is to build a model self-governing region founded on social justice, by harmoniously integrating its traditional agricultural heritage with a modern approach to development. We envision Koottilangadi as a complete and inclusive village that ensures dignified living conditions for all sections of society through equitable distribution of resources and sustainable development, while preserving its rich cultural heritage.

Mission

Our mission is to strengthen Gram Sabhas through decentralisation of powers and to ensure a transparent, participatory, and people-oriented system of governance. We are committed to delivering quality services in key sectors such as healthcare, education, drinking water, and basic infrastructure to every citizen.

While preserving the Panchayat’s rich agricultural traditions, we aim to harness modern technologies to create employment opportunities and formulate dedicated programmes for the empowerment of women and marginalised communities. We strive to simplify and accelerate Panchayat services through digital systems and establish a transparent, efficient, and corruption-free culture of governance for the people.
